​Cutter Suction Dredging

SMG delivers efficient and reliable dredging solutions using our modern cutter suction dredge fleet. Our team has the technical capability and experience to undertake a wide range of works, including:

• Canal, river, lake, and estuary dredging

• Sand mine dredging

• Mine site tailings and sediment pond dredging

• Capital works and construction-phase dredging

• Desilting and sediment removal using geotube and dewatering systems

Mechanical Dredging

SMG also delivers mechanical dredging solutions using specialised marine plant suited to confined or complex environments. Our capabilities include:

• Maintenance dredging in low-tide or restricted areas

• Desilting and sediment removal using barge-mounted excavators

• PASS (Potential Acid Sulfate Soils) material handling, treatment, dewatering, and disposal

• Environmental monitoring, water-quality testing, and regulatory compliance

Optional Add-On:

• GPS Positioning Systems – Available for selected excavator and barge setups to improve accuracy and reporting.
